Elderberry Syrup is an age-old, natural tonic rich in vitamin C, minerals and antioxidants. It is one of the most effective ways to boost the immune system and help fight colds, flu, congestion and/or minimize the length and intensity of illnesses.
Our Elderberry Syrup Kit contains the organic herbs and spices we use in our syrup...just add water and raw honey.
The kit is designed to make 24-28 ounces, when combined with 8 ounces of raw honey, however results will vary depending on cook time and /or sweetener used.
Combine elderberry kit contents with 4 cups of filtered water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool about 10 minutes. Strain through cheesecloth. Let strain for at least 30 minutes, then carefully gather up the cheesecloth and squeeze out the extra liquid. Discard herbs/spices. Add 8 ounces of raw honey and stir to dissolve.
For immunity boosting:
Children over 1 year of age - 1 teaspoon a day
Adults - 1 tablespoon a day
For illness: Take the normal dose up to four times a day, until symptoms subside.
