A simple, all-natural shampoo bar crafted with coconut oil and select hair-friendly essential oils to clean and moisturize the hair and scalp, without leaving it feeling heavy or greasy.
Because soap is alkaline and hair prefers a more acidic environment, a vinegar rinse is recommended to keep the hair's pH in balance. The rinse also acts as a conditioner, smoothing the cuticle and making hair soft and shiny. The vinegar can be rinsed out, but is not necessary.
Suggested ratio is 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar, adjust accordingly.
If switching from conventional shampoo, there is a detoxing transition period, in which your hair may not look or feel it's best. Using the vinegar rinse will help with this transition (so will a hat!)
Not recommended for color treated hair.
Our all-natural soaps/shampoo bars are handcrafted (this batch was made via hot process) and hand cut, therefore there will be variations. Weight is 4+ ounces.
We do not use colorants or fragrance oils, so be aware that the soap does not have the strong smell and coloring associated with such.
As with most handcrafted soaps, this shampoo bar should be allowed to air dry between uses.

Tea Tree Essential Oil is a natural anti-inflammatory and contains antibacterial, antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties. It’s effective in fighting oily skin and helping to manage scalp issues such as dandruff.
Rosemary Essential Oil has anti-inflammatory properties and boosts circulation to help stimulate hair growth.
Peppermint Essential Oil has anti-bacterial properties and menthol is a vasodilator, which improves blood flow. The increased circulation may help stimulate hair growth.
Lavender Essential Oil has antimicrobial properties which helps prevent bacteria and fungi from growing, preventing common hair or scalp issues like itchy scalp or dandruff.
