Love Chai but not the unhealthy ingredients?
Our Masala Chai Kit will make about 6 cups of clean, delicious chai concentrate, filled with anti-oxidants that give the body a nutritive boost, spices that stimulate the digestive and circulatory system, and anti-inflammatory properties which may ease common aches and pains.
The kit contains the spices and the black tea, just add water and the sweetener of your choice.
*Because the tea is added after the initial simmer of spices, the kit contents are in separate bags.
Add 6 cups of water and 1/3 cup of sweetener to a pot and bring to a boil.
Stir until the sweetener is fully dissolved, reduce heat, add spices, cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes.
Remove mixture from heat, add tea, cover, steep 10 minutes, then strain.
To serve: combine equal amounts of chai concentrate and milk, heat gently.
Refrigerate up to 2 weeks.
