Despite the name, Balm of Gilead is not a balm but a salve made from the poplar buds of cottonwood trees. The resinous and incredible-smelling buds are analgesic, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory. I like refer to it as "aspirin for the skin".
This batch was low-heat steeped for several days then solar-infused for 8 months, in Non-GMO Rice Bran Oil. This salve may be beneficial for dry, cracked skin, cuts, abrasions, rashes, eczema, psoriasis, sunburn, arthritis inflammation, muscle and joint pain, insect bits and diminishing the appearance of scars.
I received this incredible feedback and am going to share it on all the listings used by her:
"I did promise to let you know when I tried the Indigo Fusion and Rosemary Eucalyptus Soap. I am more than just a little happy with the results from it. On the worst days of fibromyalgia pain my lower back and hips and also my neck and shoulders seem to get hit the worst. My room mate put it on my hips and lower back for me. It seems to work nearly instantaneously. There was almost no waiting at all with it. I love the Indigo Fusion. As for the soap I am very impressed with that too. I love the feeling it brings me after using it. It feels like I've had a full body rub down and the medicinal effect is very smooth and soothing very much like using vapor rub for a cold only better than the vapor rub. I haven't had an experience yet with any of your products that hasn't helped me out in some way. Keep on with everything that you make as much as you can. Your products have changed my life in big ways. I'm not on as many pharmaceutical medicines anymore and I am steadily regaining my mobility back as well."
